Every founder network sells introductions. This page is the part they do not show you: what happened after.

Each row below is one introduction Propel made by hand, with the date it went out, what the person needed, and what it turned into. Rows are never deleted. An introduction that went nowhere stays on the page as "dead" with one plain sentence on why. A number appears only when the person it happened to has confirmed it. Names appear only with consent; otherwise the row is described, not named, and still counted.

The count, as of 15 September 2026

Introductions made: 5
Offered in a room, not yet made: 2
Met: 2
Closed: 1
Open needs waiting for a match: 1

Last close: Aurora Wenters, a round closed with an investor she met through a Propel Demo Day match. She said what she needed at registration, was matched before doors opened, and the round closed about a month later. The amount she reported is being confirmed with her before it is printed here.

The rows

Closed

Aurora Wenters and an investor. Need: a lead for her round. Source: Propel Demo Day registration, matched before the event. Made: at the Demo Day. Met: at the event. Closed: about a month later, in her own words. What it took: one registration answer and one seat next to the right person. Value: reported by Aurora, not yet verified in writing, so it is not printed.

Met

A former Federal Reserve Bank operator and a crypto payments company. Need: the payments company needed someone who had run settlement inside a central bank. Source: the KIBO investor webinar, 31 July 2026. The operator offered the introduction live on the call; the two had a call on the calendar inside a week.

A guest who could not attend and the founder. Need: the guest read the follow-up email after the KIBO webinar, asked for the introduction anyway, and had a discovery call with the founder the next day. Source: the webinar follow-up, 1 August 2026. This is the row that proves the room is not the product; the follow-up is.

Made, waiting on evidence of a meeting

Dylan Yeo, Klona Biotech, and Ritesh Doijode. Need: Dylan replied to the edition "Hit reply. Name one person." saying Klona is considering an AI layer for its manufacturing platform and asked for a resume and interest statement; Ritesh had asked for exactly that kind of door. Made: 9 August 2026, fourteen minutes after Dylan's reply, when Stephen added Ritesh to the thread. Status: made. No reply from Ritesh is on the thread as of 15 September, so this row does not advance until one exists.

Lamine Ba, OPMW, and Gilles Raynaud, KIBO. Need: Lamine missed KIBO's seed round webinar and wrote that the two companies share complementary spaces, community-based money exchange and cross-border payments. Made: 3 August 2026, twelve minutes after Lamine's reply. Gilles thanked Stephen and said he moved up a meeting the same day, which is evidence toward met, not proof of it. Status: made.

Offered in a room, not yet made

A business-to-business payments bank and KIBO. Offered live on the 31 July call by a guest. Not yet confirmed as sent.

The founder of a supply-chain investment firm and KIBO. Offered live on the same call. Not yet confirmed as sent.

Open needs

A founder building an AI coaching platform for high-pressure workplaces, raising a $1 million pre-seed with the first $50,000 secured. Need: pre-seed investors in applied AI and the future of work who invest before pilots complete, and two or three high-pressure companies for a paid eight-week pilot. Card filed 1 September 2026 by reply to the edition. Ten investors already pitched are on file so nobody gets sent twice. Status: open, being matched.

Dead

None yet. When an introduction goes nowhere it will be listed here with the reason, because which pairings do not work is worth as much as which do.

How a row gets on this page

An introduction is "made" only when an email or message went out with both people on it. Not proposed, not drafted. It advances to "met" only on evidence: a calendar event, a reply from either side, a mention on a call. It is "closed" when money moved, someone was hired, or a deal was signed, in the member's own words. A dollar figure appears only when it has been confirmed in writing by the person it happened to. Rows are appended, never rewritten; a correction goes underneath the row it corrects.

Every row starts with one answer to one question. File what you are working on and what you need, or reply to any edition with it. The Private Network is three of these a month, each one written down, chased, and published here with what it turned into.

Updated every Monday from the intro ledger. Questions about a row: [email protected].
